Zach Paige from the White Earth Land Recovery Project will be leading a seed keeping training at Ho Chunk on July 14-15, 2016. This training is part of a larger effort to expand seed keeping knowledge while strengthening the Upper Midwest Indigenous Seed Keeper Network.
Additional trainings will take place at United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND this September and Menominee in October. And, don’t forget the Fall 2016 Great Lakes Intertribal Food Summit at Red Lake where Rowen White and Zach will be leading another seed keeping training.
We are excited to announce the Fall 2016 Great Lakes Intertribal Food Summit will be held at Red Lake Nation in northern Minnesota from September 16-17, 2016. More event information, including registration, will be available in the next couple weeks. Mark your calendars and hope to see you in September. Registration is now open.
